My journey into MMA betting started long before I ever placed a bet. I first got hooked on the sport watching The Ultimate Fighter when I was 11 years old. Early on, it was just passion. I’d pick winners based on gut feel, favourite fighters, or who looked more dangerous, thinking I had a read on things when in reality, I was just another fan guessing. As I got older and started betting properly, I realised pretty quickly that passion alone wasn’t enough. MMA is chaotic, markets are sharp, and if you don’t have a process, you get exposed. That’s when things shifted. I started breaking fights down properly – studying tape, analysing stylistic matchups, cardio, durability, fight IQ, and how different game plans actually play out over three or five rounds. I became obsessed with the details most people overlook, the small edges that don’t show up on a stat sheet but make all the difference once the cage door closes. Over time, what started as watching fights turned into building a structured approach. Tracking results, reviewing mistakes, refining how I assess value, and understanding how odds move in MMA markets. There were plenty of lessons along the way – bad reads, overconfidence, and fights that didn’t go to script – but each one helped sharpen the process and build discipline. Before launching Just Bleed MMA, I spent years sharing picks in smaller circles, testing my approach, and figuring out where my real edge was. That period was crucial. It forced me to be accountable, to improve constantly, and to strip emotion out of decision-making. Now, everything is built on a long-term mindset – finding value, managing risk, and staying consistent in a sport where volatility is part of the game. Just Bleed MMA is the result of that journey.
